Grantee Announcement

Ethereum For The World is proud to announce the selected projects for the Solutions Development Grants Program (SDGP) — a targeted $150K development initiative designed to accelerate the growth of proven, onchain solutions building towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The program provides milestone-based grants of up to $20K, along with hands-on support from the Ethereum For The World network. Each grantee will receive access to mentoring, ecosystem connections, and technical assistance to help scale their solutions into new markets.

In late Q1 2026, projects demonstrating exceptional progress and measurable onchain impact will be eligible for additional rewards, as verified through Karma, the onchain accountability protocol designed to track and validate SDG-aligned outcomes.

This program is part of Gitcoin Grants 24 (GG24), a major initiative to realize Ethereum’s global potential for impact through open-source coordination and targeted development. The round is co-funded and supported by Celo, the Ethereum Foundation, and Ma Earth.

2025 Solutions Development Grant Recipients

Ethereum For The World is honored to support the following projects demonstrating innovation, scalability, and measurable SDG alignment:

  • Canvassing – A micro-task platform connecting researchers with verified African participants to deliver rapid, reliable insights — while empowering users with crypto education, charitable giving options, and new digital income opportunities aligned with SDGs 1, 4, 8, and 10.
  • Minilend – Expanding financial access in inflation-hit markets by enabling users to secure local currency loans against their dollar savings, protecting income stability and promoting inclusive economic growth across Africa.
  • Sov Seas – Building a transparent, community-driven impact platform that enables anyone to fund, govern, and track SDG-aligned projects through verifiable onchain campaigns, fair governance, and reward mechanisms.
  • CARBON Copy – Developing a Web3 SDG Tracker that aggregates and visualizes onchain impact data, mapping how blockchain projects contribute to sustainability and enabling transparent, data-driven insights across the ReFi ecosystem.
  • Wayst Recycling – Expanding its onchain recycling ecosystem with dashboards, community leaderboards, and corporate tracking tools that gamify waste reduction, create income for collectors, and enable transparent environmental reporting across African cities.
  • SwipePad – A mobile-first, onchain donation miniApp that lets users discover and fund vetted climate and public goods projects via a swipe interface, deployed on Farcaster and MiniPay to drive accessible, gasless donations, measurable SDG 13 impact, and sustainable ecosystem growth.
  • Impact Certificate Minter – Creating an open, cross-chain protocol for verifiable proof-of-impact certificates, enabling projects to mint standardized, AI-validated SDG-linked NFTs and making measurable impact data transparent, interoperable, and machine-readable.
  • DeCleanup Network – Scaling its waste recovery and environmental services platform with new features—from carbon tracking and hypercerts to municipal APIs—bridging enterprise ESG reporting, local cleanup action, and government collaboration.
  • Gardens – Enhancing its decentralized governance platform with a Bug Bounty Funding Pool to strengthen smart contract security, enabling hundreds of communities and DAOs to allocate resources transparently and safely at scale.
  • Suno – Tokenizing solar energy production through its uWatt protocol, connecting investors to clean-energy yields and transparent impact data, advancing affordable energy access and climate finance across emerging markets.
  • Citizen Wallet – Comunifi – Building a decentralized social community platform on Nostr where communities can coordinate, fundraise, and transact using custom or stable tokens, supporting SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities) with private, secure, and resilient governance.
  • Bhutan Soil Information System (BhuSIS) – Upgrading Bhutan’s national soil platform with onchain IoT data integration, real-time sensor analytics, and GHG tracking to improve sustainable agriculture, empower farmers, and strengthen SDGs 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 15.
  • GainForest – Building onchain verification infrastructure for environmental impact, combining real-time auditing, a user-accessible marketplace, and streamlined workflows to empower grassroots environmental projects while scaling measurable SDG 8, 9, 10, 13, 16, and 17 impact.
  • The Regen Atlas – Creating a spatial Actions View aggregating verifiable regenerative work across multiple protocols, enabling transparent mapping of SDG-aligned environmental and social actions and supporting geographically targeted funding and impact tracking.
  • Silvi Protocol – Deploying a Reforestation Transparency Stack to track milestones, automate payments to field stewards, and generate auditable, onchain impact data, expanding sustainable forestry initiatives with SDG-aligned accountability across regions and partners.
  • Regen Claims Engine – Upgrading Regen Registry into a cross-platform, modular impact accounting engine that tracks, validates, and attests SDG-aligned actions and milestones onchain, enabling transparent, replayable, and programmable nature and community impact, advancing SDGs 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17.
  • DAVINCI by Vocdoni – Developing a privacy-preserving digital voting and identity verification protocol integrating government-issued eIDs and biometrics to enable verifiable, sybil-resistant elections, advancing SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions), and open governance infrastructure.
  • Karma – Expanding its grant accountability platform with AI-assisted support, developer-friendly APIs, and integrated crypto on/off ramps to streamline SDG-aligned grantmaking for both Web3 and traditional philanthropic organizations.
  • EthicHub – Launching a yield-bearing, transferable stablecoin to increase onchain lending capacity, enabling greater financial support for smallholder farmers while generating sustainable economic and environmental impact globally.

Building the Future of SDG-Aligned Innovation

Each of these projects represents Ethereum’s evolving role as a foundation for open, verifiable, and equitable global coordination. By accelerating Ethereum-powered solutions that align with the Sustainable Development Goals, Ethereum For The World aims to amplify real-world outcomes.

We aim to scale our program and initiatives in 2026, and are actively looking for co-funders and partners committed to enabling solutions for the World, built on Ethereum.
