Description

Regen Network is a public-blockchain ecosystem for ecological regeneration — it uses its dedicated chain, Regen Ledger, built on Cosmos SDK, to enable the creation, trading, verification, and retirement of ecological assets (such as carbon credits, biodiversity credits, soil-health credits) in a transparent, science-backed manner. Through its components — including the Regen Registry (a protocol and project registry) and a marketplace for ecological assets — it aims to align economic incentives with ecological outcomes.

Impact

Regen Network is driving a shift in how environmental value is measured, financed and acted upon. By providing a verified, transparent infrastructure for ecological claims, it empowers land stewards, communities, and investors to participate directly in regeneration, while enabling buyers (e.g., companies, funds) to access high-integrity ecological assets. In 2023, Regen facilitated over 2 million ecological credits (eco-credits) and reported involvement across 15 million hectares of land stewardship
